Mount Falcon Park | Winter Morrison | Sunrise
Sunrise Mountain Engagement SessionEngagement Session Details:
We love sunrise couples photography! For Matt an Laura we were originally planning to do a sunset time the day of the shoot. There were a couple of things driving the change of time. One is we love the sun. I am sure every photographer out there would love sun but we really love bright sunlight. Even more than just loving it being a blue sky sunny day we love putting you in the middle of the sun and backlighting you with it. Can you tell we love lighting by how far this digression has gone?
The other factor driving the time of day change is the characteristic lack of wind in the mountains at sunrise. I am not a weather guy but just know there is something that happens on Colorado mornings that makes things extremely calm. Even during the shoot we noticed a slight breeze rolling in yet not enough to make your hair go sideways. So overall it was a really calm and chill day at Mount Falcon Park.
If you can pretend to be a morning person or just add a couple shots to your Starbucks Venti sized coffee then you should consider doing a morning session certainly on days with a cloudy high wind afternoon forecast. Matt did yawn a few times and I don’t think it was because we were boring. Deer were grazing in the field as bystanders to the engagement photoshoot. As you will notice by the signage the wedding will be in Mexico.
Here are more mountain engagement sessions on the blog. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Mount Falcon Park.
