Mount Falcon Park | Engagement | Winter
Invite the Rescue Dogs to the EngagementEngagement Session Details:
We are pretty sure we heard that Bella and Kilo were rescue dogs. Not really sure why anyone would not want them as they were awesome. Beau and Shayne are lucky parents of their furry kids. Now if we got the spelling of their names wrong we certainly would understand. People would spell our pup Bokeh as Boca. Getting back on track – engagement session. Yes. Invite your dogs. We believe as crazy as you may think they might be as long as they do not eat photographer we would love to have them. It was overall probably the prefect February day for an engagement shoot in the Colorado front range mountain parks area. It had some coolest which make things more naturally cuddly but pretty much no wind. We had shot for a date that was supposed to be 45 mph winds so going for 1 mph winds just made it more enjoyable. It also allowed for her to sport this really cool top that was open in the back and had the mix of fitted with flow to it. On a cooler winter day that likely would not have been the choice outfit certainly with some breeze. One other note on the clothing end is we liked a little bit more of the fitted look. Baggy with extra flow is in but often it is not the most flattering in photos as the woman looks bigger than she actually is in real life. We can do some things on that end but overall we like it when the couple just wears the right thing for the conditions. We were at Mount Falcon Park which has become a favorite for winter months but really it is just a solid place year round. The dogs love it there and were certainly getting into the shoot. They took a photo or two themselves (did not turn out – sorry) and even tried to make a move on their photographer while taking pictures of their parents. Flattered for sure – made our dog jealous when getting home.
Here are more mountain engagement sessions on the blog. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Mount Falcon Park.
