High Elevation Colorado Mountain Engagements are EpicEngagement Details:

We met up in Idaho Springs, Colorado and got in one car to head up to the summit of Mount Evans.  We love this 14er cause it allows for getting above tree line, has some great open space, a road most of the way up, and because you get awesome mountain goats.  We started the summit, then the house at the top for a rustic brick feel.  We then made our way down to the Summit lake, an open field, then Echo Lake for a vibrant sunset.  Diana and Tyler were on vacation and wanted to get engagement photos.  They were adventurous and we love that!

Having the engagement session in Colorado while they were on vacation was meaningful for them.  She thought the proposal was going to happen on this awesome summer trip to Breckenridge.  Instead it happened on on her birthday with everything in the home perfectly set down to the favorite drink poured.  The ring was given in a chain of gifts.  This trip to Colorado was a proposal celebration trip.  We would have loved it if they could have brought Sophie their black lab on the engagement.  I am sure she would have loved the freedom of hiking in the mountains.
