Meadow Hills Wedding | Aurora
Rumor Has it this was the First Wedding at Meadow HillsDay of Details:
We met up with Mark and Jean at the Radison Hotel in Denver Southeast. They were up on the 8th floor. We had some fun with some of their unique details like the Ravens and Orioles cufflinks and the MR and MRS signs in the reception. They had a first look pre-ceremony outside before heading over to the venue. It was a beautiful day for the winter and we got some sun at sunset.
There was a fly by from Buckley Air Force Base mid ceremony. This was extremely special to Mark as he is in aviation. What we love about their wedding is that they made it their own. They had random jersey’s they sported later, hats and scarfs from their favorite teams, and Mark’s daughter bust out some awesome vocals in the ceremony. We won’t show all the photos for reasons of incrimination but the reception was also quite lively between the high energy groomsmen and friends mixed with some shots and karaoke.
Meadow Hills Golf Course Review:
I am still skeptical that this was the first wedding at Meadow Hills Golf Course using The Tavern for the reception. Everything was setup, looked awesome, used the space well for the wedding size, and went extremely smooth. They were able to quickly adapt and deliver on the need for additional food in a popular dish. Candice was great to work with and her staff was attentive and professional. They put some rope light in the windows hanging on rods to give some ambiance.
There were some Christmas Trees with colorful lights that gave the festive look. The golf course was very flexible with what could be done on the course. The harder part on a nice day is that there are a number of people out there on the grounds. No one was in the background during the ceremony but earlier for photos we needed to pace ourselves to get between groups.
