Manor House Wedding | Littleton
Summer Weekday Wedding at the Manor HouseWedding Details:
Weekday weddings have their perks. The biggest is likely venue cost savings due to lower demand. Times are certainly changing and traditional norms are less common. Demand therefore might even out as we are seeing. The downside of weekdays is mainly on a guest end. Those flying in have to take more time off depending on their work arrangement. This might however be an upside of lowering the guest count as many may not be able to make it. For this wedding it changed the dynamic a bit as the night went on as many left earlier into the night.
The Manor House it a bit more of the classic elegant feel of a venue. It feels like you are having a party at your parents mansion. People have used the space differently for each wedding we have done there. This one had the women in the cottage on site for getting dressed. Guys were in what we would call the dungeon. Maybe we feel that way since it was down a metal spiral staircase. It was officially the lounge not to be confused with the other lounge upstairs.
They had and outdoor ceremony in the back. It has a good view of downtown Denver from Littleton behind where couples get married. After the ceremony there was a group photo of everyone. It seemed to be venue pushed and it can take some time to move everyone. From there the party dispersed across the grounds before regrouping for dinner. After some cake and first dance things spread out again.
