Invite Your Dog to the Engagement SessionEngagement Session Details:

Ever feel like your dog just smiled at the camera with this coy kinda goofy look?  For Mark and Kate that was their furry kid for you.  The engagement session was up the mountain from Boulder at this place called Lost Gulch Overlook.  It was mid afternoon and the sun was out.  There had been a lot of clouds around in the area.  Thankfully it was rather light at this point in the day just dusting some of the above treelike mountains in the background.

We started with some photos of their pup wearing the sign. We then put him away to get some more photos of the couple.  There was a fun playfulness they shared.  The falling into each others arms was rather natural.  Clothing wise this shoot was a good example of mixing the colors with the plaid shirt that picks up a little of a solid on the other person.  The main idea is you want some contrast and complementary coloring while balancing the casual and dressy clothing look.
