Kenosha Pass Engagement | Fall
Invite Your Dogs To The EngagementEngagement Session Details:
We certainly believe your dogs should be invited to the engagement session. For Matt and Amanda this was a good test drive of their dogs readiness to be invited to the wedding. Boone passed the tests with flying colors and a bit of drool coming out of his mouth while waiting for the photos to be taken. The puppy – well he still could use a little training from Boone. The excitement of getting a photo taken in the mountain fall landscape must have been too much to be able to have the needed self control. As for Matt and Amanda you guys were great with photos – no dog treats required!
We were up at Kenosha Pass which is one of the epic fall color locations for photography. We highly recommend avoiding the area on the weekends as all the people seeking photos of leaves come out in masses. During the week there are still those people taking photos of leaves from 2 inches away from an Aspen leaf and going paparazzi on random clumps of trees. When we shoot there we generally go back in further which allows for getting away from the people lining the road taking photos.
We have shot here a number of times but this was the first time it has been the fall colors week and we have been granted the evening sun. While we are in a landscape of trees lining the hills and can do well on a cloudy day we love the sun. On a side note we will add that Boone was rather friendly. There were a couple occurrences of being lower to the ground with getting licked in the face by a dog.
If you are interested in other shoots we have done at Kenosha Pass you can check them out on our blog. Here is our shoots with dogs.
