Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding | York Street
Botanic Gardens + Ritz Carlton = Elegant Beautiful WeddingWedding Day Details:
Personality, class, and a good party. We started with Andre and Mikaela at the Ritz Carlton downtown Denver. The dress was amazing. Brides to be if you are jealous and want this dress just know you should be going to the gym to work out cause the dress has some weight. On hot days like this one it can be a bit warm too but hey it looks absolutely amazing particularly on a bride as Mikaela. We love how her bride maids had dresses in the same color tones but different in coloring.
The first look was as Mikaela came down the aisle at the Botanic Garden in Denver. The ceremony was where a lot of personality showed up. The officiant was a hoot with his passion and dynamic speaking. The groomsmen selfie before kissing the bride was a first for us. The reception was classy. We love the less traditional take on the father – daughter / mother – son dances being with siblings. Dancing was awesome, inventive, and fresh!
Botanic Gardens Review:
Perfect venue for fancy urban city Denver wedding! Weddings from 10-1000 guests can fit at the Botanic Gardens at York Street. There are a number of different ceremony sites. Due to the nature of it being the gardens there will be a mix of guests and multiple weddings. As it is in a large garden this keeps the events well separated. They are also really good at blocking off paths from those walking through the Botanic Gardens.
There really aren’t good options for getting ready there so I would look at another place such as the Ritz Carlton or another downtown Denver hotel. They can do receptions but expect an increased price for sure! The staff is very helpful and the Audio Visual (AV) package is likely an essential unless it is a small wedding.
Ritz Carlton Review:
Luxurious high end wedding venue with impeccable service. If this kind of wedding venue what your looking for in Downtown Denver then look into the Ritz Carlton. We were in the Ballroom for the reception. The staff is exceptional, attentive, professional, and know how to put on a good wedding reception.
The food is amazing! The Ballroom maximum capacity is 271 and has an excellent space mid room for a dance floor. There are little things like the projection of the couples names on the wall of the stairs as you come up for cocktail hour, the staff helping get gifts from the ballroom to the car, and the little details in the rooms. The room was a comfortable temperature which is helpful for keeping the party going once dancing breaks out.
Special thanks to LaTasha Baldwin with Little Details for coordinating the event. Her team was professional, attentive, and aware. It is rare that a coordinator will see she is in the photo and move appropriately or make sure she is not getting in the way. That is just one example of how little details pays attention to the little details on a wedding day!
