Propose When She Least Expects ItProposal Details:

Irony is Anna playfully joking on their way to Chautauqua Park that its only going to last for another 6 months.  Little did she know Josh was planning a proposal for that night.  Realistically, this has been the direction for a while as Josh has been joking with Anna that he will randomly get down on one knee . . .  to tie his shoe.  Overall this was good cover for the proposal and showed a playful side they share.  As Josh noted he was wearing loafers so he had no shoe laces to tie so this proposal was the real thing.

We had planned out a route for them to go in Chautauqua Park.  It was a place meaningful to them as they had some of their first dates there hiking around like all the crazy shirtless people we saw during the proposal.  From our perspective with the tall grass blocking them it looked more like a clothing optional kind of park.  We digress – Anna knew something was up as Josh had a little nervousness about him.  We think this shows the sincerity of the guy and his love for her.  Anna was elated, crazy happy, and using what we think is her favorite line ‘holy ___ ‘ (Ask Anna).  No hesitation, joy, surprise, and raw emotion.  After taking some photos of them we took a couple ring photos on the car while Anna called her family.
