We believe you need to invite your dog to the wedding.  For Matt and Lawrin having Luna come was likely a no brainer.  Well . . . based on the ceremony and toasts was it Lawrin marrying Matt for his dog? We love dogs so we get it. Either way she was super focused motivated by the treats in the bag.  Never leave home on a photoshoot without them – right?  Well the day was overall going to be rather chill.  There were a lot of puns that were thrown into the day.  We had a first look in the field that was sprinkled with cow patties.  Guests arrived by bus and the bride was tucked away.  They had some drinks ready to go pre-ceremony that was on the lawn.  It seems there was a bet that they would not say ‘butt sex’ in their wedding ceremony but somehow the officiant was able to pull it off saying he read you can talk about everything but sex in a wedding.  Vows were emotional and just plan beautiful straight from the heart.  Cocktail hour followed with a family style dinner down in the tent.  We got some toasts in before the sunset and we took some more pictures in the field.  Dancing started up on the dance floor.  Had to do some lighting troubleshooting to get the lights on as it got dark.  I figured we were the most motivated as photographers to have the light.

CC Blue Ranch Review:

The CC Blue Ranch in Ridgeway, CO is one of those modern places you can stay through things like AirBnB, VRBO, etc.  This is not a wedding venue per se but a place where the owners have allowed weddings to occur.  They will treat you like family and everything will have a personal touch and a backyard wedding feel to them.  This place is however not the normal ‘backyard’ as they have an awesome view of Mt Sneffles and the Cimarron Ridge.  If you do not know the significance it is basically at the base of a lot of 14 thousand foot tall mountains with some flat land with dramatic mountain peaks.  They did the ceremony on the lawn, had a tent setup, brought in some mobile bathrooms, and had some of the most eclectic delicious catering we have ever had at a wedding or in life.  It seemed super healthy, fresh, and very custom.  What we love about the private residence type locations is you get really unique weddings with a lot more freedom.
