Brainard Lake Fall Engagement SessionEngagement Session Details:

Most people are not thinking of it being sunny and having raindrops fall on them during their engagement session.  For Matt and Mary we were at the Brainard Lake Reccreation area for some engagement photos.  It was fall so the one patch of trees up by the lake had changed color.  It always turns much earlier in the northern mountains and at this elevation than what people would think.  With her clothing being a perfect compliment to the fall colors look we had to try to make the most of it.

As the shoot went on some clouds rolled over some of the mountains.  They brought some light sporadic sprinkles.  With the clothing change we went back down to the lakeside for some photos as the sun came out.  You might think it was a lot of bugs in the air but it was actually rain.  It was scattered enough so that we could not have too much impact from the rain drops.  As they were dots rather than lines you can tell that our shutter speed on the camera was high.  If we did not use a flash that might not have been the case.  A favorite were the sun drenched looking photos at the end.
