Boudoir | Downtown Denver
Downtown Denver, CO Boudoir in HotelBoudoir Session Details:
As a wedding gift for her fiancé she chose to do a boudoir shoot at the Hilton in Downtown Denver. Having a good room is key for photography as seen in this shoot. Anytime a photographer arrives on set they have to be creative with what is at hand. For this shoot it meant starting off with a mirror to create unique images from different angles. Looking in the mirror can be a nice way to warm up. It allows women to see how posing works while instilling confidence! During the process posing tips are given but we do not force every tiny moment. This allows for a more natural flow and helps keep the photos from feeling stiff. Other options the room had to work with (offer) were an ottoman, a beautiful white bed, and a small couch. We used an off camera constant light to add more emphasis to curves. Lights like these are perfect for indoor boudoir shoots as they also can provide a great backlight and pop to the photos!
During the session there were 3 outfit changes. This allowed us to focus on photos and spend less time on the changing of outfits. The first outfit was white and elegant. After capturing a variety of images we moved on to a fun, sexy, pink bra and panties. Towards the end she put on a black bombshell leather looking outfit that laced in the back! Heels were added to the last 2 outfits which provided perfect finishing touches.
