Black Canyon Inn Wedding | Estes Park
Estes Park, CO WeddingWedding Day Details:
Novel idea to get photos in before the ceremony so you can enjoy some drinks and hors d’oeuvres WITH your guests. This is how Tony and Courtney went with their wedding. Right now about 60% of our couples go this route and the result often is after some quick family photos they get to share in the party with their guests. Some may not like that this is nontraditional but we love it when couples put what makes sense to them on their wedding day before doing things the way it was always done.
The party was good. A lot of people bring corn hole for guests to play but few really get into it. I think the line was 4-5 teams deep to play the winner. Some unique things for their wedding day were the hand etched wine glasses, flower vases, and cutting the cake with a sword. The photo booth saw lots of good traffic with personally coming out aided by the open bar. The night was ended with a surprise horse drawn carriage ride.
Black Canyon Inn Review:
It holds true that every time you shoot at a venue the weather conditions are different and things are setup slightly different. What you don’t want is things to be different with how the venue is run. We love that Black Canyon Inn is consistently awesome! They certainly have experience while not being a wedding factory.
There were a couple wedding rehearsals later that night but there was no interference or overlap due to the separation of the different spaces. Estes Park is a wedding destination location. Black Canyon Inn is ideal for having your family fly in and stay in the condos on site. They have ceremonies on the lawn and in the shelter. What we like is that even if it is a rainy day you can still have an outdoor wedding ceremony with a great view. Here are our shoots at Black Canyon Inn.
