This was either the 4th or 5th wedding we have done at Arrowhead. Eventually you start to lose track.  What you cannot forget is the epic mountain view. The red rocks are jutting out of the ground surrounded by green turf. There are ponds around the golf course and a changing topography.  It is a beautiful venue for golfers and even more for celebrating a wedding.  We recommend short listing this wedding venue.

They used the smaller ceremony site off of the clubhouse for the ceremony.  They had the reception in the Roxborough Room. The angle is superb though the spring lighting required a little bit of skillful positioning.  The ceremony was short and sweet officiated by a friend.  From there we had some group photos and couples photos.  For the couples photos as the lower water feature was still drained we stayed up top making for a shorter golf cart ride.

We got some inspiration type photos from the couple.  We do not recommend going this route as it then creates more a staged posed look and cuts into the image flow we have at this point.  As a wedding photographer you try to balance what a couple is seeking with doing what you do best.  Really it was a reference point and ultimately we captured them.  The night flowed into some dancing and celebration.  Interestingly enough the bridesmaids had an attire change before the reception.
