American Mother’s Chapel | Colorado Springs
Cute Little Chapel Wedding Near Garden of the GodsWedding Details:
Scott and Kristen kept the wedding day simple. We arrived shortly before the start of the ceremony when flowers arrived and as people started to show up. For music a bluetooth controlled speaker was used. It nicely tucked behind the podium. She entered with her dad and Scott’s face lit up with joy. The officiant brought humor and retold some of their story. Maybe we heard it wrong but Kristen putting a hole in the ceiling had a silver lining by Scott, the industrious neighbor, helping fix it. There was much laugher and tears. We took some family photos outside during which the dad ripped off park of the bouquet misunderstanding our direction. As the sun set we went into the Garden of the Gods park for some couple photos.
American Mother’s Chapel Review
American Mother’s Chapel at Rock Ledge Ranch is ideal for elopements or mini weddings. There are 4 pews inside that comfortably fit 2 on each. Add in the bride, groom, officiant, and a photographer and you have 12. They say you can fit 15 but realistically that would only be with folding chairs behind the last row. It is low cost to rent ($200) and accessible via a lock box key. It is at Rock Ledge Ranch. When booking we recommend you check the events calendar for Rock Ledge Ranch to make sure there are not any events occurring.
It borders Garden of the Gods and from the chapel is a short walk to get in the park. The main tricky thing is to get there. Google maps doesn’t really take you to the right place. It is located at chambers way & Whitehouse Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. This is right off of the road in a residential area. If you like this location here are our other shoots at the Garden of the Gods.
