Soiled Dove Underground Wedding | Denver
Soiled Dove is Ideal for Wedding ReceptionsWedding Day Details:
The day started at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown Denver. The hotel is beautiful and the suites are ideal for getting ready. The guys showed up and got some drinks while Kelly got in her dress. Stepping out into the streets led to an adventure between lights but made for some fun group photos. We made our way over to the Courthouse before the limo ride to the Catholic church. Christ the King Catholic Church is beautiful inside with the 800 piece stained glass and stone.
Jon became lit up light an angel from the single beam of sunlight hitting him. Kelly can be the judge if she married an angel but the camera doesn’t lie. We then took a short drive down the road to City Park closer to sunset. Surprisingly there was still a tree decked out in yellow colors. If your wondering about the trolls the pink one was strapped to Kelly’s ankle and the yellow hair one was in Jon’s pocket. The reception was kept simple and lively. The lighting was dim and made for a moody atmosphere. As for more unique things each table had their own cake to be cut for desert. Drinks continued to flow as dancing went on into the night.
Soiled Dove Underground Review:
TheSoiled Dove is located below the Tavern in Lowry a part of the Tavern Hospitality Group. The space can be used for a diversity of setups from local bands, to theater, comedy nights, presentations, or in this case wedding receptions. You could easily use it for a dual setup and have a wedding ceremony in the space but likely couldn’t do a ‘center aisle’. Reality is if you like the space though your likely not the highly traditional kind of couple. Claudine and Jen made everything come together great. The food was excellent and delicious.
