Laid back, relaxed, stress free is how we like to do weddings.  Garrett and Alicia were go with the flow throughout the day.  We never saw any stress or worry over the details.  You could tell they were there to get married and celebrate with others.  Some of the unique things of the wedding day were a ring bearer carrying rings on a fishing pole, silver fish cake toppers, and a gift wagon.

She rode in with her dad in a carriage for the wedding ceremony.  We went up the hill for some photos due to getting a better view.  The toasts were emotional and heartfelt.  The dancing had some festive classics like YMCA and the chicken dance.  There was an outdoor fire pit for enjoying the evening air.  The exit was with waving glow sticks to send them off.

Ellis Ranch Event Center Review:

Ellis Ranch is a rustic Colorado mountain foothill venue location. Their wedding was in the Event Center.  It is a large space they decorated well.  Uplighting around the outside, drapery from the ceiling, and a good DJ setup really help the space come together.  It has a rustic charm to it inside with a pinned in dance floor.  The ceremony site has wood benches and a gazebo.  Realistically its hard to make use of the gazebo in a ceremony but it looks good.  The carriage ride in is well done.  Flowers in the horses hair are a nice touch.  Up against the foothills you won’t get the epic mountain elevation difference but you will have some good hillside views from up on the hillside.  The lawn is well kept and shaded which works great for family photos.
