Propose on Vacation in ColoradoProposal Details:

Bryn and Diana flew in from Chicago for a weekend in the Denver area.  Having not been here us helping with the planning out of the proposal with maps, pictures, instructions, and key tips was said to greatly help.  They had quite the trip to get here with a flight that didn’t work out.  Basically they lost a lot of sleep and had been up for quite a long time.  They were doing pretty good with the altitude despite those two beers hitting hard.  They got up on Flagstaff mountain a little earlier than planned and so they were checking out overlooks on the way up to their spot.

We like to arrive 15 minutes early incase something as this happens or incase we need to let people know there is someone coming to propose in a given spot.  At 10 am no one else was up at the overlook.  Diana very curiously pressed on past the spot to look out at the view behind the proposal spot.  We think it took a little bit to sink but the tears did come.

What we thought was really cool to see is that as awesome as a nice ring is she spent more time  looking at Bryn than thinking about the ring.  In other words – it seems to be more about their relationship than THE ring which we think is really cool to see!  Afterward the plan was to head on down into Boulder for some champagne and celebration the rest of the day.
