Propose in Denver – Oh and Move to Denver!Engagement Proposal Details:

Zach and Shelbie were out in Denver on a ‘Do we move to Denver?’ trip.  They have been dating since freshman year of college.  After nearly 7 years dating its hard to completely surprise your girlfriend.  Please note this is a good thing as this means she deeply knows you.  Since she is still with you she not only knows you but loves you through your good and not as good parts.  Needless to say, she said YES! . . with Starbucks in her hand.

Something else to note is that even if you are 100% normal friends and family might act a little odd and tip her off.  The perk for her is she has more of a reason to get her nails done, spend a few extra minutes on her hair, and bring some cute dresses around everywhere she goes.  For Shelbie we think her hair just comes out awesome like that and yeah the dress seems normal.  The shoes were more looks than comfort but when you walk around downtown Denver things can get uncomfortable.

They had dinner plans at Bistro Vendome in Larimer Square.  It is the kind of place where you can dress up a bit more than normal and fit in.  In the summer there is patio seating.  There are flowers in the summer.  It is a beautiful place with good atmosphere.  While you would not have noticed the crazy beauty of the Colorado mountains right now due to fires out West we still think you should move here.
