Valentines Day Wedding | Ventura CA
Say I Do on Valentine’s Day!Wedding Day Details:
Sunny, 75, nearby beach, beautiful California, oh and winter! As much as we love the Colorado snow there is something nice about it being February and being able to enjoy Southern California beaches. To top it off it was the beloved V-Day. As awesome as it would be to propose or get engaged on February 14th how much better is it to marry the one you love! As beautiful of a day as it was for Robbie and April what was more beautiful was seeing the rich love they share.
We started at a church in Ventura. They had a first look before the ceremony. We love how Robbie had a huge smile on his face, tears, back to the smile, and more tears as April came down the aisle. They had a finger food and cake reception which had lots of laughter. We then went by the Mission Beauventura in downtown Ventura, CA for bridal party photos. Later we then met up with Robbie and April for a West Coast beach sunset at Marina Park.
We followed their classic car to the backyard dinner reception in a paparazzi style shooting photos along the way. They had setup a tent with enough string lights to require neighbor electricity donations! It was gorgeous with the perfectly groomed hedges, custom built dance floor, long tables with white chairs, burlap decor, and candle light.
The food was amazing authentic Mexican! It was something about the rice, beans, steak and chicken seasonings, corn tortillas, and the amazing sauces that just made it so delicious. The rest of the evening was filled with emotion filled toasts, a first dance, a wedding guest walking through a closed screen door, father daughter dance, mother son dance, and streamlined energetic dances! Ending the night with a sparkler exit was a perfect way to end the awesome day!
