“From Paris, London, and Highlands Ranch”Details About the Wedding Day:

Family and friends came from all over the world to celebrate the wedding of Oanh and John.  In the reception it was comically said that some had traveled from as far as Paris, London . . . Oh, and Highlands Ranch Colorado.  It was a beautiful day with those you care about the most.  The day started on floor 2 of the main building.  We went out back to the waterfall where they first saw one another then around front for some couple pictures in the front field.  Snow was coming in from the south so things were fairly cloudy making the distant mountains less contrasty with snow.

Laughter and tears flowed most of the day.  At various points in the ceremony in the Music Room almost everyone was laughing and 6-7 people had a hand up to their eyes.  Emotion flowed from this group and the joy and love between John and Oanh was easily seen.  The marriage license signing occurred mid ceremony.  Family photos followed in the music room in front of the piano.  You could definitely see the playful side of Oanh and John come out with the makeup artists, posing by the piano, and the brief time in their room on the bed.

Stanley Hotel Venue Review:

The hotel has a very classical charm to it.  There are many warm colors throughout the building.  The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. On a Friday in the winter things were less busy.  This makes it a little bit easier to shoot photos with the building in the background without people continually walking through the background. Flowers were provided by Mandy Mader.
