Proposal | Highland Bridge | Downtown Denver
Proposal in Commons Park Downtown DenverProposal Details:
Barrett had picked out the Highland Bridge in Commons Park for the proposal spot. This is one of the 3 white pedestrian bridges downtown Denver. This is close to where they live downtown as well as just beautiful! There are a lot of people that run across it but with the arch of the bridge you can have photographers on both sides without getting in the others photo. Barrett got out of work a little early so he could get the ring and get home to get ready.
They looked so adorable walking up! It is the kind of couple you expect is engaged because of the love you see shown between them. Once Barrett was able to get the ring box from the back pocket he got down on one knee. You could see the range of emotions coming from Tabitha’s face. There was surprise, joy, the YES look, love, and either she rubbed her eye or had a tear in there. With all the pedestrians crossing the bridge one couple stopped to offer a phone picture. I guess they didn’t notice us on either end with the large cameras which is good cause we like to be less visible to keep things more private.
We continued over into Commons Park for some additional photos, up the hill for a few, then over to Denver Millennium Bridge. It is between Little Raven Street and Chestnut Place at 16th. With the white spire and cables its hard to miss! Barrett was looking for some of the city night lights so we shot a little more dramatic, moody, and high key photos. For us this allows us to have a lot of fun with lighting shooting pics in the dark! They went on for an awesome dinner at Linger Denver. This is in the Highland part of Denver.
Enjoy the photography from the day! Here is our other work Downtown Denver. You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page.
