The Sanctuary Golf Course Wedding
Wedding at the Sanctuary Golf Course
Wedding Details:
The wedding day began at the Inverness Hotel, where the couple and their closest friends gathered in the executive lounge to prepare for the big day. The atmosphere was lighthearted and full of joy as hair and makeup were done in the soft morning light streaming through the windows. Laughter echoed through the space as bridesmaids shared stories, the bride slipped into her dress, and little details like jewelry, shoes, and bouquets were carefully photographed. It was a perfect balance of elegance and comfort—moments of calm before the celebration truly began.
The ceremony took place at St. Francis of Assisi in Castle Rock. We have done a couple wedding ceremonies here to date and have always had great experiences. It is a Catholic church known for its soaring stained-glass windows and the warm glow of natural light that fills the sanctuary. As the couple exchanged vows, the vibrant colors of the glass reflected across the pews, creating an almost ethereal backdrop. The grandeur of the church paired with the intimacy of the vows made for a moving ceremony. The timeless traditions of a Catholic wedding, from walking down the long aisle to the exchange of rings and blessings, added a sense of sacred beauty to the day that set the tone for the celebrations ahead.
The reception unfolded at The Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, a breathtaking venue surrounded by rolling hills and sweeping valley views. A brief sprinkle of rain during cocktail hour didn’t dampen the celebration; instead, it added a cozy, candid charm as guests mingled beneath covered patios with laughter and glasses raised. Once the skies cleared, the couple shared special photo moments with their beloved Corgi by the waterfall, and later, as the sun dipped behind the mountains, stunning portraits were captured against the glowing horizon. The venue itself was the picture of refinement—an exclusive, private golf club with elegant details that made everything feel seamless. After dinner, the night came alive with dancing under the patio lights, heartfelt toasts, and the cutting of the cake, all of which perfectly reflected the joy and love surrounding the couple’s unforgettable day.
