Proposal Sapphire Point Overlook Summertime
Playful Proposal at Sapphire PointProposal Details:
The ‘Natural You’ is key to what we seek to bring out in photos. The aim is that we can help you relive the feeling of key moments that quickly pass. Over time our feelings somewhat generalize. We remember that was good, the best, amazing but it’s not till we can get a vivid image to remind us that it really is felt. This is another reason why we love proposal photography. While many people are thinking they want to just get a moment for social media we feel it’s so much more than a photo. There is this full picture we have learned comes from that time of the proposal and time afterward. It is unlike any other time period in photography.
For this proposal we took a bit of calculated risk based on the circumstantial trends. What I mean by that is we used the Sapphire Point Overlook for a proposal. 10 years ago that would have worked well but it has since been overrun with people outside of some unique circumstances. Most of those are such that no one would really want to go there like if it was pouring rain or dumping snow. For perspective, it has been a few years since we used this location for a proposal. We generally avoid the Overlook itself in favor of a location that is truly secluded. Additionally, they continue to ‘upgrade’ Sapphire Point now soon to focus on creating a secondary ‘Overlook’ to allow for weddings to occur at multiple locations. Weddings have overtaken the location such that proposals, engagements, family shoots are all unable to predictably use the spots. All that to say if you are looking for photos of the proposal we have some options so we are happy to talk.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook.
