Engagement Photography at 10,200 feetEngagement Details:

We started off with Marc and Chanise on Lulu (the motorcycle).  We always love it when couples will bring meaningful props with them on an engagement session.  In this case this was the bike they road on their first date not far from where we were shooting the engagement session.  The wind picked up some providing that more adventurous look for the hair.  We ended down by the lake to pull in some reflections in the water while still getting the gorgeous mountain backdrop and vivid cloudscape.  Overall it was a really fun engagement session!  We look forward to shooting their wedding in Estes Park in a few weeks!

Brainard Lake Location Review:

I think Brainard Lake might be a new favorite place for our doing engagement photography!  Brainard Lake Recreational area is a 1.5 hour drive from Denver.  Brainard Lake has snow-covered mountains in the nearby background, a beautiful lake, and allows for vibrant lighting which we love in our photography!  Brainard Lake is also very kid friendly, has great restrooms, and seems to be good for fly fishing, camping, and hiking.  So if you are not thinking of using the Colorado mountain lake for your engagement photography consider it perhaps for a family getaway. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Brainard Lake.
