Proposal Sapphire Point Area Winter Sunset
Proposal in the Sapphire Point Area past SunsetProposal Details:
The original plan was for this proposal to be on valentines day. Colorado had other plans for Drew and Hannah. It was likely a good thing to have rescheduled things as the weather that day was fairly rough. It would have also made it hard to find this hidden location. While we do not recommend it he scouted things out ahead of time. It will be officially the 3rd time we have met a proposal guy in advance. We were there waiting on another shoot that particular day which led to the crossing paths.
We had moved things to another day which was again looking a little iffy. This then led me to bring up a fairly last minute idea on a gorgeous blue sky day. They were available and made it work. The impact (if you could really call it that) was that it would be up against the functional sunset. This means that you would get many photos at the dusk time. Dusk is when there is no direct sunlight but the indirect light can do some cool stuff. It works on a sunny day but on a cloudy or snowy one it would not be ideal.
As you will see from the photos he proposed over a pile of rose petals. We only use real flower petals due to preventing an environmental impact if one by chance blew away and didn’t get picked up. The other day we saw over at the Sapphire Point Overlook how someone used fake petals which froze into the snow and were there all winter.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook or at in the area around Sapphire Point.
