Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding in Boulder Wedding Details:

Boulder attracts a more artistic group.  The last wedding at the Sunrise Amphitheater we did had someone painting the ceremony.  For this wedding the bride had an oil painted wedding dress.  The floral print was a thick oil paint.  This made for a one of a kind dress.  It had texture and many unique colors.  There was a little reflective paint in there as well as some fall earth tones.  It was highly unique and beautiful.

They did some photos midday up on Flagstaff Mountain.  The ceremony followed and was kept fairly simple with people seated in the bottom middle.  I am not sure how many people the amphitheater can hold but its more than you are likely planning for your wedding.  On the way out of the ceremony there was a surprise choir.  They stood up and sang ‘All you need is love’ like in the movie Love Actually.  This evoked a highly emotional reaction from the couple as they didn’t know this was going to happen and well its a very meaningful movie.

From there we made our way to The Riverside restaurant in Boulder. We had done a couple weddings there and this was like the ones in the past – fairly chill.  Is that a reference to what was recreationally smoked outside . . . maybe.  It was really more of an unstructured celebration time.  Toasts were kinda random in the timing.  There was a first dance there near the end.  Overall it was a fun celebration in Boulder.  If you like what you see here here is our other work in Boulder Colorado.
