Proposal Twin Lakes Fall Colors
Epic Fall Colors Beauty for a Proposal at Twin LakesProposal Details:
Days like this day only come by a few days in a year. It varies mainly on the weather and the moisture that falls over the summer. We included the photo above to show what it looked like when we arrived. It’s a landscape photographer type of shot so inches off the water. We say that to note if you picture pasting yourself in this exact photo proposing you are being idealistic. There is no where to put you unless you were on a boat. To which then causes the water to not be calm. So many things need to line up beyond just a precise day that will vary each year, precise hour, precise weather conditions.
When they got there some wind had started to gently blow at Twin Lakes so the lake lost the level of reflectiveness. It was still gorgeous and in this spot nice and secluded. We believe in getting the real candid emotion. This means that she truly does not know her photo is getting taken. The result are many photos of the raw reaction. It is so vastly different to the stiff posed look feel. For this spot we get some variety of the zoomed in with the landscape to show the place. Either way we get you to this beautiful secluded spot perfect for a proposal.
It was clearly a yes type of response. After the proposal they popped open some champagne to celebrate. We then proceeded to take some engagement session style photos. Maybe it is the amount of time we have been doing this but we get a lot in a little time. Our feel is that the level of emotion is so much higher immediately after the proposal that you can get so much more. Granted this all depends on it being real and your photographer knowing how to use the time well. Another way to say it is that we get as much as an engagement session in half the time. Why – been doing this a while and the emotion is so rich. We love it!
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Twin Lakes.
