Sapphire Point Wedding | Breckenridge Distillery
Sapphire Point Overlook Wedding and Breckenridge Distillery ReceptionWedding Details:
If your relationship starts with a hike it is fitting that you should use backpacks on the wedding day. The Sapphire Point Overlook is one of those spots that looks like a hike without the hike. They planned a fairly simple wedding day with friends. It was a carry your own chair down kind of event. We got some group pictures in pre ceremony before a fun heartfelt ceremony. There was the recounting of their adventures together and how the relationship got to this day. Laughter of course was an outcome.
Due to the videographer causing a 15 minute ceremony delay and more friends photos being wanted we ended up getting a little short on the time before the functional sunset. Thankfully we have shot at Sapphire Point countless times so knew exactly what to do to get the most of the time we had. Much of wedding days can be like this where you need to adapt due to variables outside of your control. Over time we have learned its not as much time that you have as much as the experience to know how to best use that time.
The wedding then continued over to the Breckenridge Distillery where they had a private whiskey barrel room. They had 5 table tops for seating and some really awesome food served. It is a really great place not far from Sapphire Point. Most ‘large’ Sapphire Point weddings have 20-25 guests which is perfect for the room they had. Most are either too big or too small we have found. The service was excellent – definitely a place we would recommend for a mini wedding reception.
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other weddings we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook as well as shoots at Sapphire Point.
