If you are looking for amazing fall colors in Aspen this was it.  For Reece and Kristen they had to work hard to get this venue for the day.  It was mid week and likely the perfect day with full sun, blue skies, and low wind.  For most photographers this might be a struggle but we love the vibrancy and colorfulness we can obtain.  We can get so much more background on these clear days with how we use our lighting.

They took a go with the flow mentality.  The ceremony started with some flower men leading the bride in.  Her dad was officiating and received no direction from them.  For that reason he made it his own.  He got a package from God with all the things he needed.  It was a first we have seen someone change clothing mid ceremony.  Lots of laughter ensued and thankfully it was just the shirt.  If it had been more humor might turn toward something else.  In the ceremony his son accepted his new step momma which was super cute.

Things were rather simple with some shots post ceremony and couples photos.  We did a variety of spots in the area around the lake looking to capture the yellow fall colors.  Lighting was perfect for what we needed.  We loved getting to capture their playful sides and the romantic moments.
