Summer Proposal on Vail Mountain up GondolaProposal Details:

This was one of those proposals AND full engagement sessions.  We think Matt had told Sara that they were going to get a photoshoot up on Vail Mountain.  After we got up there we identified that there were a couple issues with the original plan.  Outside of the smoke to the south there was a wedding.

Now you would think this would be at the Vail Holy Cross Event Deck but they were trying to save some costs.  Did we hear the rate was $3k for 15 minutes?  While it is a bit pricey we think it is worth it when you reach a certain size it will cost about as much to get them up the Gondola.  Either way we had never seen this before and adapted.  In the end the light was on them rather than behind them.  On a positive end we got the mountains more in view behind them.

We had a lot of time so could do a lot more.  Normally we would not recommend doing both of these together but in this case it worked.  We started up the mountain, used the wedding deck a bit.  We went down the Gondola, got in Gore Creek, shot in Lionshead and Vail Villages.
