Sanctuary Golf Course Wedding
Elegant Wedding Venue at Private Golf CourseWedding Details:
The Sanctuary Golf Course is a gorgeous private venue. It was our first time getting to shoot at this location which we always love getting to experience. Every wedding day is different in people, flow, setup, and lighting so having shot there really is not that valuable. If anything you feel more fresh and creative in a new space. That is the case at least for us at this stage in the photography career.
It was wedding day part two for Roger and Liz. The original wedding was at a local Catholic Church the year before. This was a year later for the party and bigger group. As a result the ceremony was a little unique and not as formal. It was outside under an outdoor stone pavilion. Cocktail hour was spread out across the back patio area which was huge and beautiful. They had the reception indoors for dinner. Afterward they were back outside for the dancing.
The venue has a lot more that we wanted to use. There are some waterfalls and different places on the private golf course to explore. We had not really heard much of this as a location. With how beautiful the building and golf course is we thought perhaps it is because it was a crazy expensive venue. Overall it seemed fairly average in cost. What we loved is that it was great for a party in all weather conditions as everything is right there. One thing we wished we could have had was getting the couple in the sunset there which was amazing. It has that perfect distance from the foothills with the valley between them to make the mountains look larger.
