Proposal Sapphire Point | January
Sapphire Point Proposal in the Colorado MountainsProposal Details:
A Sapphire Point Proposal can be challenging to get at the Overlook while still getting a scenic view and seclusion. That has been our challenge for a couple of years now as things have gotten more and more busy. When it is just an engagement session things can still work well as you can work around other people. When it is a proposal you want something more private and secluded. The only solution we have been able to come up with is to get a different angle on the same area which can introduce others sets of challenges particularly in the winter.
This leads us to an alternative location for proposals with a good mountain view. For Brad and Marisha they had gone snowmobiling in the morning out in the Leadville area. They then made their way back, got some lunch and then headed over to this area.
On this particular day the lighting was bright and dropping quickly behind the right mountain peak moving the sunset up by a few minutes. It can be quite a challenging time of day so just taking photos without the needed equipment can be challenging to get the shot. The reaction was high emotion and so fun to shoot. Being able to capture these moments is a highlight of proposals as we know these are moments you cannot replace or reenact.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook or at in the area around Sapphire Point.
