Wedding Details:The Clock Tower Events Wedding venue is the perfect place for a small micro wedding. For Luke and Erin they were looking for a good party with lots of candid moments captured. The original vision is that there would be two wedding shifts. Shift 1 would be the wedding ceremony for the core family followed by a little bit of reception. Shift 2 would be a friends party. Things got changed up a bit but nonetheless they still had a great party.
We started with some getting ready photos in their hotel. We had some fun getting a unique colored background in the ring photos. This was from the color in the TV showing some kind of dare show. They had an awesome view of the clocktower from their room. Enter an idea to get some night photos from another building.
Next up was a first look with some photos of them on the clock face floor followed by a small ceremony. It was quite personable with some personality and humor. From there the party continued with some celebration between the different floors. We topped the night off with the attempted outdoor shot. We did not come in planning to take photos across buildings as it is uncommon. If it were planned we could have done some small tweaks in lighting and the lens selection. Nonetheless it was a really unique shot with them lit on the 14th floor in the landscape of the Downtown Denver city lights with Clocktower Events in the background.

We love the building with the black and white decor. There are a lot of floors you can use and while it is not a huge venue is it certainly one of the more unique for a unique wedding day. Lighting wise it is a very challenging space to shoot in so we recommend having someone who knows the space and the lighting conditions. For us it was refreshing to push it to another level of crazy shooting photos next door.
