Engagement Pictures in the Colorado Mountains at Brainard LakeEngagement Details:

Brainard Lake is the favorite summer place for engagement photography.  Where else can you get this kind of mountain view, the ability to dip your feet in the water, mountain fields, with an awesome sunset.  They did a great job with the clothing colors as they compliment but contrast in the same color palette.  The water levels were just right with the snow melt to just barely cover some rocks to make it look like where walking on some water.  Special thanks for the willingness to take off the shoes to take a little mid shoot dip in the water.

The playfulness was awesome and something that makes engagement photos come together.  We sometimes hear others try to coach couples in mediation type activities to provoke a response and well the concept makes us laugh cause well it likely would produce more contemplative looks.  Either way we find the key to getting the playful look in photos is a couple that cuddles prior to the shoot and just enjoys each other.  We like to give as much direction as one needs and well at the same time we are fairly far away in some shots.  Sometimes we are known to get in the lake.

One other random note is that when taking these photos there were two married couples feeling envious of them getting an awesome night while they watched chilling on the shoreline.
