City Park Engagement | Spring
Sunset to Dusk Engagement Shoot in City ParkEngagement Details:
I never thought that we would ever need to reschedule a photoshoot due to rioting near the engagement session location. Our original plan was to go down to Larimer Square. There are some rope lights crossing the street and well it looks really cool down there particularly as you get closer to sunset / dusk. Most often we are shooting in the time up until when the light physically drops behind the mountains. In this case we ended up at City Park.
Brad and Kristin were looking for something with a little of the evening night feel similar to what we had done there in the past so we were glad to accommodate. It was quite refreshing to do multiple lighting setups and to use a more spotlighted flash head with a grid to direct light really tight on the couple. This can make for a higher contrast in camera for photos. We think a lot of people push for this but at the expense of color in the photo as things are still flat in color when taken in camera. Either way it was quite fun and we enjoyed their playfulness shared.
Here are the urban engagements on our blog. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at City Park.
