Romantic Proposal in Downtown BreckenridgeProposal Details:
Snow lightly falling is a romantic element for a proposal. For Matt and Carly it was the perfect addition to their engagement story. For us snow is one of those things we used to dread. Snow makes photography much more difficult. When a snow shower comes out of no where the snow must go on. It is something we would say you grow into skill wise. The dread of snow is now something we are starting to actually enjoy shooting in. Why it that – well because it adds another layer of challenge but also as women like it.
The difficulty is snow coming between you and the camera. In those conditions you must shoot differently and get a deeper depth of field. To add to it there is also less light. Ideally want less depth in the photo so in the end the answer is is bump up some ISO (say what?). Basically we are getting the right balance of things down to be able to get it. In this case we kept moving closer as the proposal was going down. On days like this we must say she wore the ideal outfit. The color helps her pop in the cloudy snowy weather that sprung up on us.
