Camping Out for the Colorado Engagement SessionEngagement Details:

You would not have thought Tyler and Chelsea had just walked out of the Pawnee campground.  They were staying in the Brainard Lake Recreation Area so pretty much within walking distance of Brainard Lake.  They were on a road trip from the East Coast camping out along the way with Cody.  We were originally planning for doing something more in the Boulder area but with someone else doing their engagement session at Brainard Lake we floated the idea out there if they wanted to do it there instead.  They loved the idea and our take is that there will be no regrets to the change up.

Outside of the photos it is rather epic to just be there with an awesome view, lakes, and fresh mountain air.  The campground was rather chill as it was a Tuesday.  There were some storms that had passed through in the early afternoon but that is rather normal for the mountains.  We LOVE the sunshine so were so stoked to get a full on sun day as it just makes everything work better.  As you might notice from the photos they fit well together and brought it with some sprinkling of playfulness into the engagement session.  Their dog was really good to focus in with minor motivation.  We are so glad he was invited and could free up his schedule to be a part of the shoot.
