We would best describe the day as low stress, jovial, and a good party.  For Kyle and Lacy this was expected as it was the tone of the proposal.  Well . . . once the ring came out.  Before then there was not much of a tone because of the lack of words due to the story of buying some land which was in the middle of no where in the Colorado mountains.  Thankfully there did not need to be any surprises on the wedding day and they could just celebrate the day together.  Overall things were rather chill sprinkled with some good playfulness.  As there ceremony was coming around we also had some sprinkles of rain drops.  Due to that we had a shorter ceremony and what we think was a longer cocktail hour.  In the end we think we might have gotten photos of every guest in the moment laughing.  We did not audit this but we certainly got a lot of candids of wedding guests.  As the night went on one rare thing was both of them being out on the dance floor most of the night.  Desert was donuts from Voodoo donuts which are epic!  They even had one custom one with ‘Happy Birthday’ on it for one of the guests.

Mount Princeton Hot Springs Review:

This was our 4th wedding there and every time they have been great!  There were a lot more people around at the resort than in past times.  We think this might be in part due to non guests out there for the weekend.  If we are not mistaken we think they added another pool.  Either way you notice people when you are on the road and around the cabins but not really for the ceremony or reception.  It seems like we alway have a good party and that the space can fit whatever size wedding you want to host.  After a number of times shooting somewhere you start to see trends and one of those trends is that there is not really a lot of last minute setup.  For a photographer trying to capture everything they spent money on this can be huge.  For their wedding as the reception was fully setup by the time we got there we were able to get a photo of the space while it was empty.  If it was not setup so early all the guests would have flooded it post ceremony as there was some light rain in the area.  May seem super minor but the point is the venue has it together and is consistent over the years.
