When you go out for your birthday making the proposal a surprise is not difficult.  This is because on those kind of days things are allowed to be out of the norm because it is a once a year kind of day.  For Alfredo and Desiree one of the places they went were the Botanic Gardens in Denver.  It was one of those Denver afternoons when little thunderstorms pop up across the city.  One had just passed over the Gardens.  He was a bit nervous.  Based on how the proposal went down he had no reason to be nervous as it was a very natural yes from her.  You could tell she did not see it coming as she was a bit confused as to why they were stopping at that spot.

In the Japanese Garden there is a good spot with a pond reflection that is natural to walk through but not a stopping point.  This makes it so that others will not be at the same spot or behind the spot.  Either way there is a lot of intentionality.  As normal when there are nerves the angles are not as ideal so her gorgeous long hair was blocking much of her reaction.  As we were taking some photos afterward round 2 of some showers came while we were at a Gazebo.  They did not last long before we continued on around the gardens.   A comment on the video is that it was about 6 feet away from them but as many do it seems like there was more of a whisper than talking in a normal voice.  This made it so that audio was harder to pick up.
