Proposal CU Folsom Field Rooftop Terrace
Boulder Proposal at Folsom Field Rooftop TerraceBoulder CU Rooftop Proposal Details:
Rooftop proposals are one way to get a view of the proposal in the city. Chris and Shannon were in Boulder. They were doing a ‘tour’ of Folsom field. In reality they were just getting escorted up to the rooftop terrace. It is rather large and open up there. The thought was that for a 50 person wedding it would be an ideal venue space. At $100 per hour to rent it seems rather reasonable considering the view with a little bit of indoor space. We got up there before him and as a marker for where to propose we put down rose petals. The creative side came out when the petals were rearranged from a circle to a heart. Over by the indoor section we opened the sliding doors to give a couple angles on the proposal while being hidden away. We shot at 200mm but likely could have gone to 300mm with how big it was up there. In the middle of the roses he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring box from his sock or boot. Hard to tell from the angle we were at but nonetheless it was a good place to hide it. The box matched the red rose petals. It was an emotional YES. Good thing you got your nails done again.
You can get proposal ideas about unique location like this one from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. For more info on the Folsom Rooftop Terrace see thier website. Here is our other work in Boulder.
