Every Proposal Needs a Fun Story to TellProposal Details:

If you ask a woman for her proposal story inevitably it will be slightly different from another one.  For Rob and Ona the story was quite unique from what we have seen.  They got into Denver the day before and had plans to drive to Vegas the next day.  The plan for the trip was quite detailed but we will start with what led up to the moment of the proposal.  They started off with a tour of the thriving grow businesses in Colorado.  It is quite fitting with the educational direction.  Not knowing this and having checked in on their location via Find My Friends it did seem a little odd some of the places they were located.  Many of them were more sketchy parts of Denver.  When they were able to break free from the happy tour (as we will call it) they made their way west into the mountains.  Like many Fridays there is the pre-weekend ski traffic after work on Fridays.  This inspired their taking the more scenic route over Loveland Pass.  When they got to Sapphire Point things were mostly chill.  The love of taking some photos of the view delayed the secluded proposal.  Oddly 4 women came in for what seemed like a ‘venue tour’.  As we came to find out they were staking their claim on the public property.

In a very playful move he did a kissing move her away from other people move.  Seeing that the women were not going to move we adjusted as he did in order to get the needed angle.  As he began to propose despite the scenario unfolding in the area it didn’t seem like she cared about that as something more important was going down.  There was certainly a surprise from it coupled with a confidence in the YES.  Now with any good story you have to have some drama.  Cue up a woman we will dub ‘Officiant #AreYouSerious’.  Pretty much right after the proposal she comes over to provide her business card and offer her services.  Sure they were on their way to Vegas but the time after the proposal was measured in seconds not minutes.  After pushing herself on them ‘Officiant #AreYouSerious’ then tells them they need to leave then walks away to proclaim to everyone to basically ‘Go Away’ which is not something you can do as it is public property and ‘reservations’ just prevent conflicting wedding ceremonies.  Well no one was in a dress and the photographer was using a camera phone so it is not like things were all that formal.  To top it off she pushed her services on them again later and expressed how the reservation isn’t a prevention of others from being around.  Either way they will not be using her services.  Despite all that stuff their emotion and excitement about the proposal did not seem too dampened and it makes for a ‘special’ story.
