Rocky Mountain National Park Wedding | Estes Park
Sunrise Wedding Photos Above Treeline in RMNPWedding Details:
There was not much traditional about their wedding day. There was an officiant, rings exchanged, flowers, and well they wore wedding clothes. At times her dress started to blow itself unbuttoned so perhaps having your dress start to blow off isn’t something traditional. We met up at 4:45 am. If your looking for a photographer willing crazy enough to get up before sunrise for photos than we would be them. From the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center we drove up Trail Ridge Rd in Rocky Mountain National Park and stopped up near the top. From there we took in the sunrise up on some rocks and on the mountain landscape.
The wedding ceremony was down off the Upper Beaver Meadows Rd up on a hillside with views of Longs Peak. We absolutely love it when a couple makes use of a random Colorado mountain hillside with a view. For a couple this saves them on the expensive costs of a wedding venue. The ceremony officiated by Winding Road Ceremonies had a mother nature feel to it which seemed fitting considering we were in the middle of this gorgeous mountain landscape. After some additional photos afterward we made our way back to the Stanley Hotel where they were staying and going to be doing a celebratory brunch. Break out the Champagne!
If you like what you see here and are considering using Rocky Mountain National Park here are some of the other shoots we have done at RMNP. Here is our other work in Estes Park and other weddings at the Stanley Hotel.
