Loveland Pass Engagement | Summit County CO
Mountain Engagement Session Above TreelineEngagement Session Details:
The vision was to do some snowboarding on the slopes. As it was late season we targeted A-Basin for Natalie and Chris. Perhaps due to our frequenting Breckenridge and Vail in the winter we never really noticed the Arapahoe Basin culture. It is the kind of place where you tailgate for cooking some breakfast and get an afternoon beer with lunch on a portable stove. Dogs are everywhere and buildings even have signage noting dogs cannot come inside. There was even a dog on a snowmobile!
I think we got our weeks wrong or something but the pricing was a little different than expected. It was about $40 less than Vail in peak season pricing using my buddy pass – yikes! As we were going for something simple we changed things up to drive up Loveland Pass. It was just down the road and the mountain views are amazing. The wind is common but really you just have to get in the right place as it is fairly hilly on the summit. There was a ton of laughter, goofy playfulness, and enough sanity to get some of the classic mountain ridge-line photos. Here is our work on the blog at Loveland Pass.
