Destination Engagement Session in Estes ParkEngagement Session Details:
Colorado Mountains were at their best for the photoshoot. We met up over at the Beaver Meadows visitor center in Estes Park outside of Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). Ryan and Brianna were in town checking out some wedding venues around Estes Park. We were going to ride in together as I find it helps to stop along the way sometimes randomly based on the conditions and lighting. This normally would also save the couple the cost of the entrance fee which really didn’t matter cause no one was around which makes the shoot all the more enjoyable.
Considering we had 100+ inches of snow not too long ago in a week some snow on the ground was expected. The reality was dry fields and blue skies with snow on the mountain peaks. Surprisingly wind was absent from most of the shoot which is rather rare. To give you an idea of Ryan and Brianna when offered where they could ride the choice was one up front and the other in the back or snuggling in the back. Snuggling was the winner which we love.
There were a lot of goofy moments along the way with them being playful. It was likely first to see her go up on his shoulders. The snowballs were large to begin with but then became huge at the end. To continue on with their adventurous wedding planning weekend rumor has it some hiking was in order. If you like what you see here and are considering using Rocky Mountain National Park here are some of the other shoots we have done at Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP).
