Proposal | Snowmobiling Colorado | Winter Park
Mountain Snowmobiling ProposalProposal Details:
Let us start by saying we love adventurous couples. Jonathan had contacted us about doing a photoshoot that has a proposal in the middle of it. The unique thing to it was it was going to be in the Colorado backcountry on Snowmobiles. The plan was to meet up in Winter Park and do a unguided tour of the mountains. The last time I was on a snowmobile I was going somewhere between 90-100 MPH in an open field area. That day ended with the flipping of the snowmobile into a pond and going through the ice. As you might guess I had no complaint to a friend coming along to go on the tour and drive.
The snowmobiles were rented from Grand Adventures who will basically tell you to baby the things and don’t drive anywhere but on a trail. The trails were mountain roads winding through the hillsides overlooking Winter Park, CO. The day was a little cloudy and chill the higher up we went was certainly enough to make you enjoy the heated grips. We didn’t see a lot of stuff at the top because it was a semi cloudy day. Moving back down the hillside we stopped at this place that had a good view of the bare rock hillside. Andrea did not see this proposal coming and was in complete surprise. It was a good elated kinda happy cry for the proposal.
Ironically a guided tour was nearby to see the engagement and applaud the YES. Up until that point Andrea was on cloud 9 enjoying the day, laughing, being goofy – everything you want on a photoshoot. Where do you go after cloud 9? I am not entirely sure but that is where she was after he proposed.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. Here are our shoots on snowmobiles.
