Proposal | Flagstaff Mountain Winter | Boulder, CO
Surprise Proposal with a Hidden PhotographerProposal Details:
Surprising your girlfriend with an engagement ring after 4 years of dating is challenging yet Todd did it! One of the key tips we can give is to be natural and set expectations that are realistic. In the case of Todd and Taylor they were going to be doing brunch in Keystone at the Alpenglow Stube. It is a romantic option that would encourage a little more fancy attire than if you were going on something like a hike.
We guess you could take Flagstaff mountain as a scenic route to Keystone but we think it is more than Taylor wasn’t as familiar with where they were going. Coupled with her not feeling 100% in the morning I doubt she was really focused on where they were going. It is a quick pull off on the road to a scenic overlook. It was a little icy in certain spots but overall a warmer sunny day with an increasingly strong breeze.
How Taylor didn’t see the large ring box in Todd’s back pocket is a mystery. Once he pulled it out the hands went instantly over the mouth likely preventing any joyous squeals. As the proposing continued a tear rolled down the cheek. While she may not love the look at that moment it really speaks to the deep love shared. The ring is gorgeous and it might have been a little swelling of the fingers with the altitude but it didn’t make it all the way on. After the proposal the friends just happen to end up at the same place for their ‘errands’ run. We took some more photos before they made it off to brunch at Snooze in Boulder.
